Launched as the “Bennelong Ensemble” in 1999 by professional musicians from Australia and Great Britain, the ensemble quickly established a reputation for excellence and innovation through performances at the British Music Information Centre, St James’ Church, Piccadilly and as part of the “Fresh” series at the Purcell Room, in London’s South Bank.

Venue
The venue is the new Gillian Moore Centre for Performing Arts of Pymble Ladies' College, Avon Rd, Pymble. Access to the centre is easy from both the north and south along Pacific Highway, via Livingstone Avenue. Cost-free parking is available onsite. If you are coming by train, PLC is only a short walk from Pymble station.
Admission to concerts
Members are admitted free on presentation of membership cards - there are no other charges -
not even for concert programs. Non-members are welcome to attend individual concerts. Admission prices: regular $25, seniors and pensioners $20,
full-time students under 23 $6. Children under 13 are admitted free.
Box office opens at 7:15 pm on concert nights. All seats are unreserved but good seating is assured. There is no need to book.
