Welcome to our splendid concert venue at PLC Pymble!
Pymble Ladies' College, in collaboration with leading Sydney architects, PMDL Architecture and Design, have created a truly state-of-the-art venue for the performing arts in the School grounds at Pymble. PMDL features a creative team which excels in the provision of architectural and interior design services.
The auditorium, officially opened in September 2005, has been designed to create a sense of intimacy between performers and the audience. With superb acoustics and efficient, all-seasons airconditioning, the main level of the auditorium accommodates an audience of 500 in raked continental seating to optimize sightlines. There is seating for a further 250 at the upper level, which is accessible by lift and where special wheelchair accommodation is provided.
How to access the centre
Access to the Centre, situated in the School grounds, is easy when approaching from both north and south along the Pacific Highway. Turn into Livingstone Avenue, Pymble (at traffic lights), then right into Everton Street and bear right after the roundabout (do not turn left down Pymble avenue). Bear left along Avon Road then turn left off Avon Road through the School gates to the Centre. Free parking is available along Avon Road and within the School grounds. A large School carpark is also located at the very end of Avon Road within a short walk of the Centre. For further parking directions phone 9558 3551 or 9416 1866.
